Hey Kidz,

I hope you are all doing well.  It’s only been a couple of weeks since the last issue this time.  Which is pretty exciting I suppose.  A continuation of our comic creator series.  To be honest, there’s a reason why this issue came out so quickly.  I’ve been kind of burned out on my work for a while (meaning three years) as far as seeming to put more work in for less response from people.  I’d doubled down the past year or so thinking it would fix things, but it seemed to just result in me pouring in more time.  I mean, I know that people are opening pages throughout the Silber site & listening to MP3s & downloading the free releases & all that by looking at my webstats.  The sales have been pretty poor which I am fairly used to, but the lack of human contact that the work is generating is what really is getting to me.  So I’m trying to wrap up the work I have up on deck right now (probably two issues of QRD, a half dozen 5 in 5 EPs, & a dozen comics - so it’ll be a few weeks) & then taking a hiatus (I’ll still fill orders & check my email).  Maybe it will last only a couple weeks or months or maybe it will be a couple years.  This fall I will have been doing QRD/Silber for 19 years, half my life, & I have no regret for the thousands of hours & thousands of dollars I’ve invested in it.  I’m proud of what I’ve done, but I need a break to figure out who I am as a middle-aged man instead of as a teenager’s dream.

Anyway, perfect time to sign up for out mailing list or follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook so you’ll know what we’re up to when we’re starting back up.  Thanks for your interest & support.
