QRD – When did you start your label?

Renzo – In 1975.

QRD – Where did you get the money to finance your first few releases?

Renzo – We started with very low budget productions, artists were willing to cooperate to keep the costs as low as possible.

QRD – How many releases have you put out?

Renzo – About 350 titles.

QRD – How many releases would you like to do a year?

Renzo – 12-15.

QRD – How many hours a week do you work on the label & how many would you like to?

Renzo – Many, many, as many as I can. I never stop working.

QRD – What are the fun &/or rewarding parts about running a label?

Renzo – Concretized dreams.

QRD – How do you feel labels are more & less useful to artists now than they were five years ago?

Renzo – Less, in terms of sales, more in terms of promotion.

QRD – What makes your label special & unique?

Renzo – The broad spectrum of rare or unknown music we release.

QRD – How has your physical location effected your label?

Renzo – We release many italian rooted music artists, because we are here!!

QRD – Do you enjoy music as much now as you used to & how has running a label effected how you listen to/hear music?

Renzo – Same fun, more care of the market impact certain artist can make. Incredible.

QRD – What’s your demos policy?

Renzo – We listen to most of them.

QRD – How do you find out about new artists for your label?

Renzo – Word of mouth.

QRD –What’s been your biggest selling release & why do you think it was?

Renzo – Banda Nica Matri Mia. Nice music, very moving & original sound....

QRD – What is the thing all releases on your label have in common?

Renzo – Me!!!!!
